Cakey foundation is NOT a good look, but there are ways to avoid it! You want to be able to wear foundation that makes you skin look flawless and airbrushed, not cakey and blotchy. Here are some tips and tools that will assist you in getting flawless and airbrushed foundation.....
Materials:

Materials:

- Foundation that is suited to your skin tone and type
- A foundation brush
- A beauty blender
- A light setting powder
- Powder brush
STEPS:
- Get a foundation that is suited to your skin tone and your skin type
- Put some of the foundation on the back of your hands and dot it on your face (Remember that less is more!)
- Buff the foundation in with a foundation brush of your choice.
- Then grab a beauty blender and dab the foundation into your pores. (This will make sure that your foundation goes into your pores and not just sits on top of them.)
- After that set your foundation with a light powder with a brush so that it doesn't move. (Use dabbing motions, not swiping otherwise it will move your foundation)
As you can see there is a huge difference in cakey and non-cakey foundation. After using this method of applying foundation your makeup should look a lot better, although it will take some practice to get a flawless look.
Hope this helped you out :) :)
